About The Artist
International artist, James A. Parker (1928-2006), was
a man of superb talent. His gift of creativity and command of
multiple colors was exemplified in a series of artwork which
opens over a period of more than six decades. His personal quest
for individuality and perfection was developed in his early
years when he attended St. Cecilia Art School, tutored under
artist John Gehrenhardt and continued to study in Wiesbaden,
Germany. His quest reached culmination when he ran his own art
gallery in Chicago.
The essence of contemporary art is expression, freedom and the
exploration of new horizons where unlimited levels of endeavor remain a part of the
creative equation. As a result of his diligent pursuit of such expression, Parker emerged as an international talent. His style and maturity were obvious components of his
superior workmanship. |
