5 fold Ministry
Ephesians 4:11 says, “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”APOSTOLIC- KLM believes that God has called us to be an Apostolic people. The word Apostle means one sent forth! Just as God sent forth His son Jesus into the earth and as Jesus sent out the disciples we believe that God is sending forth believers to spread the awesome, life-changing, miracle working message of the Kingdom of God!
PROPHETIC- KLM Believes that God is moving powerfully in an end time generation of prophetic people! We flow strongly in the prophetic office and gifting. The word says, “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). We know that, “And afterward, I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy…..” (Joel 2:28).
EVANGELISTIC- As Kingdom people we know it is our responsibility to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ to a dying world. We believe that it is important for the Body of Christ to know how to share the gospel and to evangelize in our neighborhoods, workplace and communities. Jesus said in Matt. 28:18, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…..”.
PASTORAL- Pastoral ministry is the spiritual ability to shepherd the flock of God, feed them the Word of God, and to equip the saints to find their gifts so they too can do the work of the ministry. KLM believes in working closely people to help them to reach their full potential for the Kingdom of God!
TEACHING- KLM believes in making the Word of God clear with accuracy and simplicity. The Word of God says we must, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. As we teach the Word at KLM we encourage God’s people to study and be diligent students of the Bible.
