Prayers
The leadership of KLM believes strongly in the power of prayer. When the disciples came to Jesus they were concerned as to the reason they could not cast out an evil spirit. Jesus response was very simple, "This kind can come out only by prayer" (Mark 9:29). This let's us know that we as believers have a mandate to pray. We have to spend time in the presence of God in order to walk in the authority and power He has called us. The early church was birthed in power. Acts 1:8 says, "And you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;" God never intended for the church to be powerless. The early church was a praying church. Jesus said his house would be a house of prayer for all nations (Mark 11:17).

We believe that God would have us to seek His face in this hour. If we are to show the world who Jesus is then we must first know Him ourselves. Prayer has to do with spending time with God. It has to do with communicating with Him and hearing His response. We are called as believers to have an intimate walk with God. He desires relationship with us. It is imperative that we realize God answers prayer. He answers the prayers of the righteous! James 5:16 declares, "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." We cannot live any kind of life and expect God to answer us.
Finally, we are also called to stand in the gap for others. Isaiah 22:31 says, "I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none." This form of prayer is called intercession. We are called as Christians to intercede for the lost. We are called to stand in the gap for our cities and nations. Then I believe we will begin to see the manifestation of Jesus prayer in Matthew 6:10, "...your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
Prayer Requests
KLM has been built upon prayer. It was during a season of prayer and fasting that KLM was born. We believe this ministry belongs to God and that we must continue to seek His face daily for the direction He wants for us. Jeremiah 29:13 says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart." We believe that God desires for us to seek Him. We believe that He desires true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
We believe we serve a living God. He is a God who understands our situations and who can help us in times of trouble. We believe that anything we ask Him in accordance with His will, he hears us (I John 5:14). We are called as believers to pray for our families, our cities and our nation. Jesus Christ is the answer for a lost and dying world. As we spend time in prayer we are strengthened, encouraged and empowered to reach this world for Him.
Once again we encourage you to attend one of our prayer services or you may email a prayer request to prayers@klmchurch.com. Please note that each prayer requests emailed to our prayer partners is placed them in a sealed envelope, and submitted them to our daily prayer group. Each day they will pray over this sealed envelope asking God for his purpose to be achieved in whatever the situation may be.
